Of course! If a group is attending a public event you can reserve seats together by letting us know the names of your party in the Special Requests box.

To sign up for a public event, visit our calendar to select the day and painting of your choice, choose number of canvases and fill in all required fields. If using a voucher, please carefully follow the instructiions. Please call us if you have any questions or difficulty when registering.

Yes! We can work with you to create a special painting that reflects your business; for example, your logo or certain branding, or something that's just completley fun and entertaining and has nothing to do with work! Contact us and we'll be happy to put something together for you.

We offer on location parties and provide the artist, all of the art supplies, aprons, easels, stools and tables. Our tables are 24"x48" and can seat 3 adults. Please have enough space cleared to accommodate the number of tables needed for your event, including an area for the artist to stand with an easel. If you host a party in your home, we recommend moving furniture out and covering the floor with a tarp. We are thrilled when hosts provide the tables and chairs! 

We will need access to running water.

Host provides all food, beverages and decorations.

We will set-up and clean-up what we bring with us...art supplies, etc.

When registering, enter your voucher number in the white box under the yellow boxes where name and email were entered. One name per voucher. On the next page, it should show a $0 balance and should not ask for credit card information. If it does, please stop and go back to review that you entered everything correctly on the page before, or call 919.610.2989 and we will walk you through it. Please do not enter your credit card info in, and when it asks if you understand that you will be charged the amount shown, do not click ok.

If your voucher has expired, you may apply the amount you paid toward a class and pay the remaining difference.

We know each organization is unique so we will work with you to create an event that suits your organization's needs. We can create a new painting specifically for the theme of your fundraiser; you can choose from any of our existing paintings, or if you have some other idea we can discuss that, too. 

At Artistic Thirst we frequently have Give Back nights where 50% of the proceeds are donated to a local charity. If you know of an organization you'd like to sponsor, we'd be happy to sponsor them or you can check the calendar and sign up for an upcoming Give Back class.

 

No, we are not. We are a sip and paint studio with similar events to franchised companies, but we offer more than paint parties.  We operate independently and can, therefore, offer so much more than our franchised competitors. We are artist owned and operated with artist assistants who love sharing their creativity with others!

Evening events generally have adults who are drinking beer or wine, so we suggest participants be at least thirteen years old and be accompanied by an adult. Older teens (16 and up) are welcome to attend evening classes alone at their parent's discretion.

We require a credit card for reservations and we require any cancellation to be at least 48 hours prior to the event date. If you don't show up for the event you registered for, your credit card will be charged for all the canvases you reserved. No exceptions. If you cancel or change dates with less than 48 hours notice for an event that is sold out, you will be charged. If you were paying with a voucher/coupon, you will lose the promotional value of the voucher. If you give at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, we will issue you a credit to be used for another class.  We hope you don't need to cancel, but if you do, please call us at 919.610.2989 or email us at artisticthirst@gmail.com.

Artistic Thirst will cancel a public class if there are not enough guests signed up. Four is our minimum to hold class.

Arrive about 15 minutes before start of the event to find a seat and get your drink and snacks. We start on time.

We use acrylic paints which dry very quickly, which means your painting will be dry at the end of the evening for you to take with you. It also means any paint spilled on clothing that dries will be permanent. We don't recommend wearing your favorite party clothes! We do supply aprons which catch most of the paint.
