About Artistic Thirst

At Artistic Thirst we are all about satisfying that creative side in each of us. By offering sessions for adults and children, we are able to give everyone a taste of what it's like to be an artist! Come join us and be creatively satisfied.

Marcia Moran is originally from Colorado and has a degree in Graphic Design from the Colorado Institute of Art. Her decision to open Artistic Thirst arose from her desire to use her creative talents in an atmosphere of fun and exploration. She has always been creative, both personally and professionally, and she loves to encourage and see others tap into their creative side. That love of encouraging others, seeing faces light up after a session, and hearing excited exclamations of "Hey, this looks better than I thought it would," or, "I think I may start painting on a regular basis!" are the foundations of Artistic Thirst. Marcia continues to design beautiful images for her customers to reproduce and she, along with her artist assistants, will guide and encourage you in a fun, friendly environment.

Meet our talented and energetic artist assistants who are always happy to help!

Loren Wolfe is originally from Newport News, Virginia but moved to Raleigh, North Carolina when she was seven years old. In the past, Loren was a level 7 Trampoline & Tumbling gymnast for four years and took art classes at her high school during the day. Now, she is currently attending Wake Technical Community College to earn an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Loren enjoys painting and reading in her free time and has always wanted to help people create art and further their abilities. She has a website to view her personal artwork (lorenwolfeportfolio.weebly.com) and looks forward to sharing her passion of art with Artistic Thirst.

Holly Murray is a North Carolina native and a graduate of Meredith College, where she received her Bachelor of Art Degree in Fine Arts with a Studio Concentration in Painting.  She enjoys painting impressionistic landscapes and creating her own quirky and fun designs with acrylics.  Most recently, Holly was chosen along with a few other Wake County artists to create a design for a public art display of Bengal Tigers in downtown Fuquay-Varina.  Bright paints and a blank canvas, along with a good glass of wine, make Holly’s happy place.  She is thrilled to share her creative knowledge with you here at Artistic Thirst.

Caroline (Caro) Caldwell was born and raised in North Carolina. She recently earned her degree from NC State in Fashion Textile Management and Arts Entrepreneurship. She is passionate about the arts and runs a business called Beaumonde that helps artists with their arts marketing and creative strategy. She is also pursuing a professional career as a collage artist, Caro The Creative. Her works combine unlikely subjects with esthetically pleasing lines and colors that, for her, represent free-flowing emotion and positive energy.
